TikTok has been my sole focus for the past few months, and I am here to convince you to check out this platform.
I started a new channel on September 8, 2024: BaxandBenny.
It is 12/7, and I have over 1300 followers!!! I have been accepted into the TikTok Affiliate Program. I have been accepted into the Amazon Influencer Program, created an Amazon Storefront, and placed my link in my TikTok Bio.
I still have many questions and things to figure out…But really, all it comes down to is how I make content people like.
And that leads me to some exciting news…because figuring out this fast-moving platform is not a one-man job,
My mentor, Dean, has announced a new class called Your First Sale to help newbies use TikTok to monetize. Don’t worry. I will share everything I am learning with you.
What is so exciting is that we are at the forefront of a new opportunity – not the tail end! Because that is what it felt like when I joined affiliate marketing. Email rules changed… Everything seemed saturated. It seemed like it was the end of an error.
But now, it’s just the beginning….
What am I talking about…Social Media. Well, one particular app, to be exact: TikTok.
TikTok has been getting a lot of attention and paving the wave for a lot of changes that are heading our way.
Why you need to join the TikTok bandwagon…
1. Did you know that TikTok has over a billion users
Let’s face it we all know the secret recipe is getting the right offer in front of the right person. And with a billion users I’d say you got some good odds.
2. TikTok has a lot of ways to monitize but the one that has really caught my eye is TikTok Affiliate.
What does this mean? This means you can promote one of TikTok’s many products, and if people buy the product using your link, you get a commission.
My mentor said in class this week that Instagram and YouTube are not far behind in offering affiliate programs for content creators.
I mean, it’s genius that these platforms get regular people like you and me to make amazing videos; people come to watch your videos. So be yourself, show your personality, and promote what you like. The best part about it is everything is built into the app. The traffic, the offers, a true opportunity to monetize!
All someone needs to do is click the link at the bottom on their screen, and TikTok handles everything: payment collection, shipping, delivery, and returns.
3. You will have so many products at your disposal to promote because TikTok has started a collaboration with Amazon.
Imagine being able to promote and make commissions from every product on Amazon.
You no longer need to generate traffic or find offers as an affiliate marketer. This platform is giving it all to you for FREE.
Don’t be fooled…this is not going to be easy, you need to pick a niche, build a following of superfans by creating good content, find out their pain points and what they want and provide them with products that solve those pain points or accomplish those goals.
Warning: your TikTok account is not your owned asset. Therefore, you are playing by their rules. They can suspend you, someone can hack your account, and things happen. The goal is to approach this process as learning the skill of creating killer content that converts.
The skillsets you develop can be used on any platform. Start with one; once you master one platform, you can always repurpose your content and expand to other platforms.
Alright, so this is a big opportunity to be placed in front of you. What’s your next move?
Is it going to be cryptocurrency all over again?
Or are you going to put all your fears and doubts aside and go all in?
Because if you are, you can make that shift and become the creator, put people in front of products and make sales, putting money in your pocket. It holds the possibility of changing your life.

Hi Alison, I’m still hung up on the US pulling out of TikTok if China doesn’t relinquish its rights to ownership. Nevertheless, I’m getting 10 or more subscribers a day simply by uploading videos, hoping to get to 1K by the end of 2024.
It looks like there are buyers lining up to buy Tim Tok. Just as long as it’s not Elon Musk.

It does sound like TikTok is influencing other platforms to start selling products, so there’s no need to fear a ban in the US. We could use another platform to do the same thing. Great post and a lot of great information!
The one thing that I’m really looking forward to is that every other social media outlet out there is looking forward to copying Tik Tok and how they’ve set-up their shop, etc… so whatever we learn from Tik Tok can be easily transferred to any other social media account you may have!
