Never Give Up: Why Persistence is Key to Making Money Online

Happy Saturday,

This week was one of healing and sleeping.

I got stem cell injections on Friday to heal the torn labrums in my hip and shoulder and see if it can help my knee, which has a lack of cartilage.

I have been saving up quite some time to afford these, and really hopeful they will work and I can avoid the shoulder surgery and hip replacement the orthopedic is saying I need. And get my active life back. It has been torture not being able to be active. I miss yoga and dance so much.

The body is quite amazing, and it really has the power to heal itself.

The first two days after the shots, I was hopped up on pain medication and unable to move. But now, a week in, I am walking around almost in the state I started out. I really think this is going to work!

But don’t be fooled. Like anything else, I will have to “put in the work.” After it “heals,” I will need to do daily physical therapy.

That is the part that most people don’t do. Getting the injection, although painful and the recovery humbling – is the easy part; the hard part is the consistent physical therapy and feeding your body nutritious, non-inflammatory food. That is where the real work comes in.

It reminds me of affiliate marketing. You must put in that hour a day at a minimum, and you must be consistent to get results.

Consistent dedication and work are the secrets to success in any endeavor in life. If you put the time in consistently, you can become good at anything, and reach any goal you set for yourself!

Posting on your primary platform to generate an audience, showing up every week, writing blogs, and sending out emails is just like physical therapy. You must do it every day, or all that money I spent on these shoots will not be as effective, and my body wont be where I want it to be – and I want to grow old gracefully, always able to carry those bags of groceries and bend down to pick something up, and that takes work.

Embarking on a journey to make money online is an exciting and transformative experience. However, it is common to encounter moments of doubt and feel the urge to give up or make excuses when you don’t want to do something outside your comfort zone. But here’s the truth: success is born from resilience and unwavering determination.

Today, I wanted to remind you that you can do it: hang in there, let self-doubt go, let excuses go, and never give up on your dreams.  You can do anything if you just stay consistent and have faith.

Embrace the Journey

Making money online isn’t an overnight success story. It’s a journey filled with learning, growth, and occasional setbacks. From affiliate marketing to e-commerce, freelancing to blogging, every path comes with its unique challenges. The key is to embrace these challenges as opportunities to learn and improve. Remember, every successful online entrepreneur started where you are now – facing the unknown but moving forward with determination.

Value of Mindset

Your mindset plays a crucial role in your journey. A positive and resilient attitude can turn obstacles into stepping stones. When you encounter difficulties, instead of viewing them as reasons to quit, see them as valuable lessons. It’s your mindset that will fuel your perseverance and keep you motivated even when the going gets tough.

Determination Overcomes Doubt

It’s natural to question your efforts, especially when results aren’t immediate. But determination is what separates those who succeed from those who don’t. Every effort you put in, every hour you invest, brings you one step closer to your goals. It’s essential to keep your eyes on the prize and remind yourself why you started this journey in the first place. Your dreams are worth fighting for.

Celebrate Small Wins

Success is a series of small victories. Celebrate them! Each milestone, no matter how minor it may seem, is a testament to your hard work and progress. These small wins build momentum and confidence, propelling you further along your path to making money online.

  4. Hi Alison,
Here’s to you getting back to where you want to be physically.
I know that a few years back, my family doctor told me pretty much the same thing: I was physically hard on my body for many years but now that I’m retired from the Army, I still need to work out and take care of my body.
It is sad to see that so many take the recovery part for granted and, since they feel great, decide not to continue with physical therapy; I believe Ernie’s post this week talks about just that.
Take care of yourself, thank you for your continued support & have a great – nah… fantastic September!

  5. Hi Alison, I truly admire your tenacity and I wish you all the best for a speedy recovery. I do hope that this treatment works for you and you don’t have to go through any reconstructions or surgery. Your post has inspired me to keep on doing stuff; even a little a day mounts up over time. Thank you for re-iterating that. I needed this!

  6. Hi Alison – As usual, and this is becoming a habit in my comments to your blog posts, this is truly a valuable and inspiring post! Ironically, the better word is coincidentally, my blog post this week is a little similar to yours and that one must heal physically and this can relate to business when it comes to putting in the work. I take so much from your blog posts but this week I will strive to Celebrate the small win as they are huge contributor to the big wins. I find that I only focus on the big ones from time to time but it’s the small ones that lead up to ultimate success. Today, I got up and chose not to use the excuse that it’s a holiday today be lazy and not do anything productive in my business. That would have been the easy thing. The small win of just getting up and getting started will lead to a big win of accomplishing some of the things that I have put off for a while. I am so encouraged and glad to hear that you are focusing on your health and I am also interested in this stem cell idea. I get so much information from reading these blogs in so many new ideas. I had never considered this, so thank you! Have a fantastic week, my friend!

  7. Wow, that was an excellent post, Alison. I’m so sorry you have to go through such a trying time. You are young, strong, and determined, so I have no doubt you will conquer this obstacle and become incredibly successful in affiliate marketing. Stay positive and resilient, follow the path, and your successes in life will materialize. I’m one of your biggest cheerleaders…..
